Far beyond the stars so bright,
Past the comets’ blazing light,
Lived an alien, small and green,
The strangest sight you’ve ever seen.
His name was Glen, not Zorg or Zog,
He had three eyes and loved his dog—
A robo-pup named Beep-Boop-Zee,
Who barked in tones of 1-2-3.
Glen’s ship was sleek and fast as sound,
He zipped and zoomed from town to town.
But Earth, oh Earth, was on his mind,
A place of wonders, yet untried.
So down he soared one starry night,
Past city glow and neon light.
He landed soft in someone's yard,
Between a swing set and a car.
A child named Max came out to see,
This glowing, grinning mystery.
"Hello!" said Glen. "I come in peace,
I’d like a snack, at least some cheese!"
Max just laughed and shook his hand,
"I think we’ve got some snacks on hand."
So under stars, they laughed and ate,
And Glen called Earth his best first date.
When morning came, Glen waved goodbye,
And shot back up into the sky.
But sometimes, Max still swears at night,
He sees Glen’s ship—a flash of light.
